Director of Worship

Cindy Wessel serves as Director of Worship at Holy Cross, planning and leading worship and overseeing the Worship Area ministry teams.  Cindy's life purpose is to help people grow in their relationship with God through sincerely giving God praise, living a life of prayer, studying the Bible and serving God by living what they've learned.

Cindy holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Northwestern College in St. Paul, MN, with a double-major in Bible and Church Music and emphases in Performance and Christian Education.  She has been on staff at Holy Cross since 1997.

Cindy is married to Chris Wessel, also a musician, and they have three children.  In addition to her love for Jesus, her family and music, it comes as no surprise to those who know her that Cindy is happiest when she is sharing meaningful conversation with family and friends, new and old.  She also loves to read, garden, bike, camp and swim.
