Ernie Is Retiring June 29

 

On Sunday, June 29, we will be hosting a special Sunday celebration to acknowledge the ministry and retirement of our Director of Christian Outreach – Ernie Freudenburg. Ernie has served Holy Cross for the past 15 years. Before that he and his wife, Kathy, served as teachers at RCLS. Together they have faithfully served our Lord in His Church and Schools for over 50 years! The schedule for the day will include:

• Worship in the Courtyard - 9:30 - 10:30

• Fellowship & Reception - 10:30 - 11:00

• Program in the Sanctuary - 11:00 - 11:30

• Picnic Feast in the Courtyard - 11:30 - 1:30

Shower Ernie and Kathy with blessings !

 Here is how the shower works. Each week a portion of our congregation is showering Ernie and Kathy with blessings. You will receive an email or letter informing you that is your week to bless Ernie and Kathy for their years of faithful service to the Lord and to Holy Cross. Then bless Ernie and Kathy as many times as you want. Here are some ideas:

• Send a Card - 2512 9th Avenue NW, Rochester, MN 55901

• Send an Email or Ecard - ekfreud@charter.net

• Make a Phone Call - 282-4162 (home) 289-1354 (church)

• Stop by Ernie's office for a personal thank you visit (Ernie is off Friday at noon and Saturday)

• Give a gift or gift card

• Send flowers

• Take Ernie & Kathy out to breakfast, lunch or dinner!

• Bake a treat

• Sponsor a day of broadcast at KFSI Christian Radio! (Let them know you did)

• Give a gift to support a special mission or ministry in their names! (Let them know you did!)
