Travel, Adventure, and growing as the Body Of Christ

We travel by vans and/or private vehicle and include a couple of days of recreation/bonding time on our way to the city where we will serve.

We will depart on Friday July 3 for Cedar Point Amusement Park where we will stay at the Breakers Hotel on the grounds.  Saturday the 4th will be spent at the park!

On Sunday we will finish our journey to the very edge of the United States!  The trip home will be on Saturday July 11.

We all struggle at times with a sense of worth or significance. Am I worthy of what I receive? This can be both positive – “Do I deserve the gifts I’ve been given?” Or negative – “Why did this bad thing happen to me?” This summer at Group Mission Trips your group will experience a fresh look at the idea of worth through the parable of the prodigal son.

Many people know the basics of the story. The son who ran off with his inheritance and lost it all. The father who welcomed him back with open arms. The older son who stayed home, helped run the family business, and kept his nose clean is now shocked at the outpouring of love for his rogue brother. We will look deeper into each person that is part of the story. And discover a new idea. They were “Worth It.” Each day we will explore the story of the prodigal son from the perspective of the three main characters in the story – the father, the older son, and the younger son.

Each person will discover how they are Worth It to Jesus as a result. Through each powerful, transformational mission trip experience, your group will see how Jesus wants each of us to know we are also valuable, loved, accepted, and worth it to him. No matter what we’ve thought in the past. No matter what choices we’ve made. We are all Worth It to Jesus!
