Writing:

Writing is a special gift God gives to certain members of the body of Christ to put your thoughts and ideas into words that will be meaningful and relevant to those who read them. As these words are read people will find guidance, knowledge, courage or edification.

Opportunities for Service:

Drama

            There is a growing need to use drama in worship. If you are interested in writing dramas based on a Scriptural teaching or adapted to a Scripture text, we will find an opportunity for you.

Ministry Brochures

            There is always an ongoing need to produce brochures for the various ministries of our congregation. If you like to take information and organize it into a brochure format, then please volunteer for this ministry. A display of congregationally produced newsletters, brochures, and inserts is the location where these materials are located.

Secretary of the Congregation

            The Secretary is a corporate officer of the congregation. The Secretary serves the congregation at the Voters' Assembly and Executive Council by taking minutes of all meetings and preparing requested correspondence. In addition, the secretary communicates with the congregation by summarizing the minutes for publication in the monthly Messenger. The term of office is one year.

Library Committee

            One of the ways that members of our Library Committee can encourage the membership of Holy Cross is sharing through our written church publications book and video reviews from the items that we have available in our library located in our present Youth Room. The term of service is month to month as agreed upon.
